Refund Policy
Reservations and Payments

A deposit of 50% of the amount is required to confirm any reservation.

The balance must be paid 7 days before the start of the activity.
Cancellation by the customer

Cancellation 30 days or more before the activity: full refund (less any transaction fees).

Cancellation between 7 and 30 days before the activity: 50% refund.

Cancellation less than 7 days before the activity or absence on the day itself: no refund.
Cancellation by Yukon Backcountry Rides

If we have to cancel an activity due to safety reasons, extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control, the client will receive a full refund or can choose a new date.

If the activity is interrupted or modified after it has started due to safety reasons (e.g. unsafe conditions), a partial refund or credit may be offered depending on the situation.
Special cases

In the event of documented illness or emergency, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit or postpone the activity.

Transportation, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the customer are not reimbursed.
Insurance recommended
We strongly encourage customers to purchase travel/cancellation insurance that covers outdoor activities in Canada.
