These terms and conditions govern the use of the website and participation in activities offered by Yukon Backcountry Rides. By accessing our site or booking an activity, you agree to these terms.

1. Reservations and Payments

  • All reservations must be made through our website, by phone, or in person.

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required to confirm a reservation.

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

​

  • A cancellation made 90 days before the activity is eligible for a full refund.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for a refund, except under exceptional circumstances.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an activity due to hazardous weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a refund or credit will be offered.

3. Liability and Safety

​

  • Participation in our outdoor activities involves inherent risks (weather conditions, terrain, wildlife, physical exertion).

  • By registering, you acknowledge understanding these risks and agree to participate voluntarily.

  • You must follow the instructions of our guides and staff at all times.

  • Yukon Backcountry Rides assumes no responsibility for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in activities, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.

4. Compliance and Permits

​

  • All our activities are conducted in compliance with the laws and regulations in force in Yukon and Canada. Yukon Backcountry Rides holds the necessary permits for its excursions and ensures compliance with applicable tourism, safety, and environmental protection standards.

  • Activities such as fishing or hunting are carried out only within the legal framework established by Environment Yukon and the relevant territorial authorities.

5. Equipment and Physical Conditions

  • Certain safety equipment may be provided (e.g., helmets, life jackets, fishing gear). You are responsible for using it properly.

  • You must inform our team of any medical condition or physical limitation that may affect your participation.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation if a person does not meet the required safety or physical condition standards.
